Mike Duggan, mayor of Detroit through 2025, is running for Governor of the state of Michigan as an independent “who knows that Michigan’s problems can only be addressed by building a coalition across party lines.”

Dan Osborne is a Navy veteran who is running as an independent to serve Nebraska in the United States Senate. Dan believes “we all have more in common with each other than we do with the partisans who run Washington.”

Todd Achilles is an Army veteran who is running as an independent to represent Idaho in the United States Senate because “both parties threaten public lands, grow the national debt, keep us in forever wars, and support corporations over families.”

Rick Bennett is the former president of the Maine Senate. The son of a public school teacher and a retail sales clerk, he is running as an independent for Governor because “Maine needs a different kind of leadership…grounded in integrity – not ideology.”

Will Staton is a father of two daughters and former educator. He is running to represent New York’s 22nd district in the U.S. House of Representatives as an independent because “we must put people over political party.”

Veterans for All Voters is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit that seeks to “unlock competition, make our politics less polarizing and our government more effective.”

independent voter project (IVP) “is a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to
better informing voters about important public policy issues and to encouraging non-partisan voters to
participate in the electoral process.”

Brian Bengs is a Navy veteran, educator and Park Ranger running as an independent to represent South Dakota in the US Senate and believes in "the cowboy code of the west: tell the truth and take care of your neighbor.”

Ty Penkins is a “proud son of the Mississippi Delta," decorated Army Veteran running as an independent to represent Mississippi in the United States Senate because he believes “public service should answer to the people—not to private profit. And the most important thing a leader must do is listen.”

Independent Center is a 501(c)(3) organization that strives to “highlight, promote, and ensure our politicians are held accountable for their promises to independent voters and all Americans.”

Open Primaries is both a 501(c)(4) advocacy and 501(c)(3) education organization dedicated opening primary elections so that independents can participate, candidates who are elected will be held accountable to serve all voters.

Independent Veterans of America “was built to identify, inform, and unite independent veterans and give them a voice at all levels.”
